From the Flickr page: “In the above picture, the cover of Christmas, A Very Peculiar History is heavily foiled in a bright yellow gold foil, front and back. Spot lamination is used on the sun-ray pattern against a matt background. A label is attached to the front of the book at an angle to give the title and a feel that the librarian has added it, then with the hand-written blue ink ‘with lashings of second helpings’ is intended to give a feeling of the Cherish family’s curatorship of the collection. The spine has been overprinted with broken foil on a red and green background with a label stuck on with an old typewriter style font designed to look like a label from a cataloguing system. To finish off, the edges of the book have been gilded.”
