A WIN FOR WALES?
We are delighted to announce that ‘Wales, A Very Peculiar History’ by Rupert Mathews, and published by Book House, has been shortlisted for the 2011 Tir Na-Nog Award for best English-language book about Wales.
The winner will be announced at CILIP Wales’ annual conference in Liandrindoa Wells on Thursday, 12 May 2011.
This isn’t the first time the quirky Very Peculiar History series has attracted the attention of awarding bodies. In 2010, the series was shortlisted in the ‘Brand/Series identity’ category at the British Book Design Awards.
